Pitch @Palace - 23/01/15
Oh, the Grand Old Duke of York, he had three hundred business leaders . . .
Or something like that. Last week I had the honour of being invited to HRH The Duke of York’s Pitch@Palace event where three hundred business leaders, celebrities, CEOs and mentors attended to watch the 12 start-ups pitch for prizes including most commercially viable business; best pitch; and most disruptive business. To find out who won and read the full story, have a look at the website here.
To feed the three hundred plus VIPs, fifteen up-and-coming food and drinks entrepreneurs were also invited to showcase their wares, including Positivitea! It was an incredible honour and so obviously we jumped at the chance to be in the presence of such greatness on a grand scale. But we didn’t just wanted to impress the guests, we wanted to dazzle them too, and so we decided to go one step further and along with Pinkster Gin and The Shrub & Shutter we created the fabulous Pink Tea Garden cocktail with our IMAGINE tea (white tea, elderflower and blueberry). Not only beautiful in hue it also tasted good too! The tea cocktail went down a storm and secured us a lovely little spot in people’s memories of the night, here are the pics to prove it. (Look carefully and you might just spot the Duke himself!)
P.S. There was a mildly embarrassing same dress scenario with Foraging Fox but by the end of the night we were both laughing about it, obviously we both have very good taste.
